The Seven Questions To Answer
The concept of Management By Objectives (MB0) was developed by
Peter Drucker
Peter Ferdinand Drucker is revered as the father of modern corporate management. He was often called the world's most influential business guru. His thinking transformed corporate management in the latter half of the 20th century.
Adapted by Vadim Kotelnikov
Management By Objectives (MBO) aims to increase organizational performance by aligning goals and subordinate objectives throughout the organization.
MBO helps also an individual to set his or her personal development goals.
To identify your personal aims, answer the following Seven Questions as best you can:
What are your goals?
What specific objectives must you meet in the next week, month, quarter, year?
How will you measure success towards your goals and what feedback do you have to check your results against your goals?
How will you know that you've achieved your goals?
What do you have to do to achieve your goals?
What performance standards must you reach?
Are you linking your individual goals to those of your company?
Reassess your answers periodically because they may change over time.
