Manager

The Five Questions

Every Manager Should Periodically Ask About Himself

Peter Ferdinand Drucker is revered as the father of modern corporate management. He was often called the world's most influential business guru. His thinking transformed corporate management in the latter half of the 20th century.

  1. Who I am?

  2. What are my strengths?

  3. How do I work?

  4. Where do I belong?

  5. What is my contribution?

There is only one way to answer the first three questions: to collect and analyze the feedback. Whenever you make a key decision, or whenever you do a key action, write down what you expect to happen. Then few months later feed back from results to expectations. Every time a I do it I am surprised. And so is everybody who has ever done this.
